Citizens Alert Patrol (CAP) - FIGHT CRIME

Join the Community in Protecting Our Neighborhood from Crime

For upcoming CAP Training Classes, see our CALENDAR-EVENTS page.

Our neighborhood organization offers TWO opportunities for you to help reduce crime and make our streets and homes safer.

First, our neighborhood’s Citizens Alert Patrol (CAP) patrols the square mile between 21st and 31st streets, from Yale Avenue to Sheridan Avenue.

To help with the patrol, you’ll first complete an application, undergo a background check and attend a training session conducted by Tulsa Crime Commission. When approved and when on patrol with another member, you’ll display a temporary sign on your car that identifies you as a CAP member. This is not an attempt to replace the good work of the Tulsa Police Department. It’s our way of helping by saying we care about the safety of our residents.

Join CAP. If you have questions or would like to join the Citizens Alert Patrol (CAP), just attend one of our monthly Hoover Neighborhood Association meetings* or :
